Acceptable Use Policy

Effective · Version 0.1 (draft)

Short and simple: use SkiJapow to plan and book genuine trips, and don't misuse or attack the service.

Prototype notice. SkiJapow is currently a product prototype using mock data with no real payments. This document is a working draft provided for review — it has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel and is not a binding agreement. Company details and contact addresses below are placeholders.

1. When you use SkiJapow, you agree not to

  • Make bookings you don’t intend to honour, use stolen or unauthorised payment methods, or otherwise attempt to defraud us or suppliers.
  • Book in another person’s name without their permission, or provide false traveller details.
  • Attempt to access accounts, bookings or data that are not yours.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy our content, pricing or supplier information.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation — for example by overloading it, probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or introducing malware.
  • Circumvent security, rate limits, or any technical measure we use to protect the service.
  • Use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass or abuse our staff or suppliers.
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with SkiJapow or resell our service without our written permission.

2. Reporting a security issue

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to support@skijapow.example rather than exploiting or publicising it. We appreciate good-faith reports and will work with you to fix issues.

3. Enforcement

If you breach this policy we may, depending on the seriousness, warn you, suspend or cancel bookings, close your account, or take legal action. Where a breach causes a booking to be cancelled, the Cancellation & Refund Policy and any supplier terms determine what, if anything, is refundable.

4. Relationship to our Terms

This policy forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.
